Ogura’s MDB-N Series Electromagnetic Multiple-Disk Brakes are designed for applications requiring high torque braking in a compact footprint.

The brake uses multiple friction discs to increase torque capacity while maintaining a smaller overall size compared to single-disc designs. When energized, the electromagnetic coil engages the disc stack to provide consistent braking torque.

The MDB-N series is optimized for lower speed, higher load applications where stable stopping performance is required. Shaft-mounted configurations with keyway interfaces support straightforward integration into industrial systems.

Operating on 24 VDC, the series offers a range of torque and bore sizes to match common application requirements.
