Ogura’s RNB Series Electromagnetic Spring-Applied Brakes are designed for compact systems requiring reliable fail-safe stopping and holding. The brake is spring-applied and electrically released, meaning braking force is automatically applied when power is removed. This ensures safe stopping and load holding during power loss or emergency conditions.
The RNB series covers a mid-range torque profile and offers multiple configuration styles, including standard (N) and higher response variants (T). Available in 24 VDC and 90 VDC versions, the series supports a wide range of automation and machinery requirements. Keyed shaft mounting allows direct integration with motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and couplings.
