Ogura’s SNB Series Electromagnetic Spring-Applied Brakes are designed for compact systems requiring reliable fail-safe braking. The brake is spring-applied and electrically released, ensuring that braking force is automatically engaged when power is removed. This design provides inherent safety for applications where controlled stopping and load holding are critical.

The SNB series offers a lower to mid torque range in a compact footprint, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. Available in both 24 VDC and 90 VDC configurations, the series allows flexibility in electrical integration. The units are designed for direct shaft mounting with keyed connections, supporting integration with motors and mechanical drive components.
